Day 1: Kathmandu to Syabru Besi expand_more
Start your day with an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi.
After 6-7 hours of drive, reach Syabru Besi at an elevation of 1550 meters which is also the official point from where treks to the Langtang region begin.
Drive along the winding roads and enjoy the majestic views of Manaslu, Annapurna, and Ganesh Himal to reach the small village of Syabru Besi.
Spend the night in Syabru Besi.

Day 2: Syabru to Lama Hotel expand_more
Have breakfast in Syabru Besi.
Start with your trek through oak and rhododendron forests with many ups and downs till you reach Langtang Khola.
After crossing the river over a bridge, climb a steep trail that leads to Lama Hotel.
Spend the night at an elevation of 2380 meters.

Day 3: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village expand_more
Today, your trail starts from the Lama Hotel.
On the way, enjoy the mountain views and the waterfalls.
Langtang range slowly comes into view as you reach Ghoda Tabela which translates to horse stables.
From here, make a gradual climb as you see yaks grazing in the fields.
Finally, reach the traditional village of Langtang. The mountains look more imposing and majestic as you get closer.
Spend the night here at an elevation of 3500 meters.

Day 4: Langtang Village to Kyangjin expand_more
Start the day's trek. It is short and easy and helps with acclimatization as you cross the 3000 meters mark.
Pass through Mani walls, chortens, prayer flags, and holy rocks with carvings on our way today.
Reach the valley after 4 hours of trekking which has a lot of unique features to explore.
Start the afternoon hike to the local cheese factories where you can buy and taste the mouthwatering local cheese.
Explore the Buddhist shrine in the Kyangjin Gompa that has huge religious value. Explore other treasures of the beautiful valley at the lap of Langtang Lirung.
Spend the night at an elevation of 3800 meters.

Day 5: Kyangjin Rest Day expand_more
Today take some rest & explore the destination of the trek.
Walk up to the moraine to watch the glaciers of Langtang Lirung.
If you are feeling adventurous, climb the Kyangjin RI, the highest point of the trek at an elevation of 4350 meters.
After reaching the top, you will be blessed with panoramic views of Langtang peaks.

Day 6: Kyangjin to Lama Hotel expand_more
Have an early morning breakfast.
Start your trek that traces your way back to Lama Hotel. The trek is mostly downhill, and enjoy the Himalayan vistas.
Spend the night in Lama Hotel at 2748 meters.

Day 7; Lama Hotel to Syabru Besi expand_more
Today retrace your steps back to Syabru Besi, which is mostly descending.
Enjoy the Himalayan views for one last time.
Spend the night in Syabru Besi at 2000 meters.

Day 8: Syabru Besi to Kathmandu expand_more
Take a local bus or a private vehicle to Kathmandu that will take around 8 hours.
Spend the night in Kathmandu.
