- Boudhanath Stupa: Also known as Khasti Buddha, it is the largest stupa in the world. Because Tibetan refugees have been living here, it is also known as little Tibet.
- Pashupatinath Temple: It is the biggest Hindu pilgrimage site inside Kathmandu valley. Sitting on the bank of the holy river Bagmati it is believed to exist (Jyotir Lingam). Along the Bagmati river are the cremation areas (Ghats).
- Bhaktapur Durbar Square: Bhaktapur is known as the city of devotees, and most people are engaged in agriculture. The city is the best example of fine arts, architecture, terracotta utensils, and popular Juju Dhau (Sweetened yoghurt). It is the best-preserved heritage site in Nepal.
