Day 1: Joe's Bridge to Nijmegen expand_more
Meet your tour guide at the Eindhoven airport or train station, or your hotel.
Start the tour at Joe's bridge at the Belgium border, where the British ground troops started their "Garden" operation on the way to Arnhem.
Go to Son bridge, via Valkenswaard and Eindhoven, where the 101st Airborne troops had landed. See the Market Garden museum next to the drop zones.
Continue "Hell's Highway" to the other drop zones of the 101st and find your way to Grave bridge, which was captured by the 82nd Airborne troops.
Stop here for the night close to Nijmegen.

Day 2: Nijmegen to Arnhem expand_more
Visit the landing sites of the 82nd Airborne division in Nijmegen and Groesbeek and trace back the difficult battle for the bridge here.
Go to Arnhem where the British 1st Airborne Division was engaged in a fierce, and ultimately unsuccessful fight with the strong German troops.
See the "Bridge too far", the Airborne HQ (now a museum), drop zones, war memorials.
Explore the site at the Rhine river, where many troops could ultimately escape their trap.
