Embark on a 7-day trip to discover the natural beauty, wildlife, and fascinating culture of Namibia. Explore the country’s most iconic dunes, see one of Africa’s best waterholes for game viewing, and visit the three tourist hotspots, namely Etosha, Swakopmund and Sossusvlei. Experience wildlife in Etosha National Park, spend time at leisure at the Swakopmund coastal town with many adrenaline-filled activities, and see into the world's oldest desert with the highest sand dunes. 

  • Day 1: Arrival expand_more
    • Meet the tour guide at 8h00 am at your hotel/accommodation facility. 
    • After a short briefing, embark on the day's journey, taking into the Northern territory of the Namibian landscape. 
    • Passing through small towns such as Okahandja, Otjiwarongo, Otavi and Tsumeb, have plenty of opportunities for stretching and comfort breaks. 
    • Late lunch will be served at the appropriate time in one of the small towns. 
    • The 9-hour transit drive will bring us late afternoon into the Etosha National Park. 
    • If time permits, explore one or two water holes closes to the camp for wildlife sighting opportunities. 
    • Dinner will be served in the lodge restaurant, and retire to bed for the night—those feeling strong visit the floodlit waterhole at the camp to maximize their chances of seeing nocturnal animals.
  • Day 2: Etosha National Park expand_more
    • Drive from Namutoni camp inside Etosha national park towards Okaukuejo camp. The day is basically set aside to transverse across the whole park, visiting numerous waterholes searching for wildlife sightings and encounters. 
    • During midday, stopover at halali, the middle camp, for a lunch break, for stretching and a comfort break. 
    • After a well-deserved break, continue to Okaukuejo camp visiting more waterholes along the way. 
    • Arrive and check into the rooms, and take it easy before dinner. 
    • Same as the previous night, this camp has a floodlit waterhole for the not so much faint-hearted until late night nocturnal wildlife spotting around the waterhole.

    Please note both camps In Etosha offer optional evening drives into the park at extra cost. Check with your guide to enquire at the reception during checking in for availability and pricing.

  • Day 3: Swakopmund expand_more
    • Leave the Etosha National Park for Swakopmund.
    • With different landscape scenery, arrive late afternoon just in time for the sunset over the ocean if weather permits. 
    • Check into the hotel, and you are free to explore many restaurants the coastal town has got at your own cost. Swakopmund is famous for the German architecture of the early 19th century mixed with modern-day innovative style.
  • Day 4: Leisure Day expand_more
    • Relax and take the day at leisure. 
    • Alternatively, there are tons of activities you can book and participate in the form of day tours in and around the whole coastal region. 
    • Indulge in skydiving, hot-air ballooning, scenic flights, boat cruises, living desert tours, cape cross fur seal colony, kayaking, sandwich Harbour tours, to mention a few. You can ask your guide to help you sort out the activities with the service providers for pricing and availability. 
    • At night, try the seafood in a different restaurant from the previous night.
  • Day 5: Namib Desert Naukluft Park expand_more
    • Depart via Walvisbay towards our last destination of the Namib Desert Naukluft Park, 380km and seven-hour drive.
    • Stop halfway on our journey ' Solitaire. Famous for its apple pie, interrupt the journey for late lunch, apple pie or coffee as preferred. 
    • From solitaire, it's a bit of a shorter drive to the entrance of the park. 
  • Day 6: Sossusvlei expand_more
    • Depending on the accommodation location, have a Pre-dawn start into the greater dune formation such as dune 45, big daddy and Sossusvlei. Namib desert is the oldest desert dating back between 60/80 million years, with the highest dunes towering up to 600m from the desert floor. 
    • Have enough time to explore the area on foot before returning to our lodge.
  • Day 7: Windhoek expand_more
    • Transit back to Windhoek, yet by different scenery roads; expected time of arrival is between 16h00 - 17h00 latest; unless requested to be earlier for same-day flights other travelling arrangements or commitments.
