Know before you go
According to legend, Tequila was born when lightning split and boiled the heart of the blue agave maguey. The Indians discovered that they slipped inside fragrant nectar, which since then is considered a divine gift. Tequila, the par excellence Mexican drink, has created a unique world around it. It is also the representation of the confluence of two worlds, the Mexican agave, and the Spanish distillation process.
