- Meet the guide at your hotel and drive to Lake Inle.
- Explore the revered Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, which is a notable Buddhist Pagoda on the lake. Marvel at the five small gilded images of Buddha that it houses, which are entirely covered in gold leaves.
- Visit Nga Hpe Kyang monastery or Jumping Cat Monastery, located on the west side of the lake. It is also called the Jumping Cat Monastery because the cats who once lived here were trained to leap through hoops during slow hours between scripture recitals.
- Have lunch at one of the best local restaurants to enjoy some fresh fish.
- Head to the local workshops of silversmiths, silk weavers, cigar makers, and boat builders and watch how they work.
- Mingle with the local Inthar people and visit floating gardens, and pass by villages built entirely on the lake.
