Visit around Mandalay and Amarapura expand_more
Start in the morning at 08:30 am and visit the famous Mahamuni Pagoda.
Attend a gold-leaf making workshop to see the unique handicraft of Mandalay.
Head to Amapura and visit Mahagandayon Monastery where you can see monks collecting alms for their lunch. Study the daily routine of a monk.
See the longest teak wood bridge.
Return to Mandalay to see the monuments from its royal past, such as Royal Palace, Golden Palace Monastery, Khu-to-taw (world's biggest book), Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda (giant marble Buddha).
Spend time on top of Mandalay Hill by watching the sunset.
