Start at 8:30 am and explore specific religious sites and handicraft shops.
Behold the Mahamuni Buddha Temple, a Buddhist temple and a major pilgrimage site. The Mahamuni Buddha image (literal meaning: The Great Sage) is deified in this temple, that originally came from Arakan.
Head to the formal capital of Amarapura, known for its traditional silk, cotton weaving, and bronze casting.
Continue to see the Mahar Gandaryone Monastery, where over 2,500 Buddhist monks live together.
End the tour with visits to the Royal King Palace, Golden Palace Monastery, World's Biggest Book & drive up to the top of Mandalay Hill to enjoy the beautiful sunset.
