Day 2 - Boat Trip to Mingun expand_more
Go on a half-day tour in Mingun to the listed locations:
Take a local boat for about an hour to go to Mingun village along with marvelling at the scenic view on the way.
Explore the village by walking for about one and a half hour. The village is famous for the largest ringing bell in the world, huge unfinished stupa, and the local village life.
Board the boat and return to Mandalay which will take about 4 hours.

Mingun - K5000 per person
Mandalay Hill - K1000 per person
Jade Market - K2500 per person
If there are more than 10 people in a group the price will be 50 USD.
You can choose from the following options:
Option 1 - Amarapura in the morning
Option 2 - Mandalay in the morning

The best time to visit Mahagandayon Monastery is between 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. All the monks in the monastery queue up to receive the alms at 10:00 AM.
Timing - 9:00 AM - Sunset (approx. 6:00 PM)
The Offers:
Zegyo Market, which is a good place to see local ways of life and local products. It is also one of the biggest markets in upper Myanmar.
Jade Market- Entrance fee K2500 per person. The best time to visit is between 8:00 and 10:00 AM.
Local Tea Shop (Local Cafe)- Try the local taste and meet with the local people.
Shwe In Bin Monastery- Very typical Burmese wooden monastery where you can learn the typical style of Burmese monastic architecture.
Minthar Theatre- Show starts at 8:30 PM and finishes at 9:30 PM. Entrance fee is K14000 per person.
Mandalay Marionettes Theatre- It is famous among foreign travellers and it was started in 1986. The show starts at 8:30 PM and finishes at 9:30 PM. Entrance fee is K15000 per person.
You can choose from the following options:
Option 1 - Mingun boat trip in the morning. We will miss the chance to visit Jade Market.
Option 2 - Mingun boat trip in the evening. We can visit the Jade market if you wish and we can also see the sunset on the boat.
