In the morning, we start with a visit to the Lesnovo mill caves and the cave church of St. Bogoroditsa. Then we walk for 15 minutes to the village of Lesnovo, and along the way, we enjoy the beautiful views and landscapes towards the village and Ilinski Peak. We arrive in the village and visit the wonderful Lesnovo monastery (built in 1341) and enjoy the architecture of the 14th century, its fresco paintings and the iconostasis. Then we climb to Ilinski peak (1127m), from where a beautiful view is offered, and we visit the cave church and hermitage of St. Gavril Lesnovski. We return back to the village and go for a joint lunch and fellowship in an ethnic restaurant. End of the tour.
