    • Meet your tour guide and start your two-and-a-half-hour tour at the archaeological site Heraclea Lyncestis from today's centre.
    • Later, we continue to today’s City Museum, located in 1848. Bitola’s museum can be proud of its collection and thousands of exhibits with enormous cultural and historical meaning. In the beginning, this building was one of the most respected Military High Schools in the Balkans during the late Ottoman period, and as such, it worked until 1909. One of the hundreds of students who studied and lived here was Mustafa Kemal Ataturk (1896-1899), the father of modern Turkey. That is why one of the two permanent exhibitions represented in the museum is dedicated to him and his life.
    • Proceed to Shirok Sokak, our version of Parisian Champs Elysees. The main pedestrian street is probably the first thing that comes to mind when mentioning the city.
    • Before entering the Old Bazaar, we will see unique architecture, the Clock Tower (symbol of Bitola), the Catholic Church “Sacred Heart of Jesus”, St. Dimitrij church, the Ishak Çelebi Mosque and the House of Culture.
    • Stroll through the Old Bazaar – During the 19th century, Bitola was at its peak, the second-largest city in the European part of the Ottoman Empire (after Thessaloniki), a vital trading center with over 2000 stores, most of them situated in the Old Bazaar. Caravans of most variable goods moved to Bitola from all sides and reversed from Bitola to all the other centres of that period. Unfortunately, many fires, especially during the First World War periods, were fatal for one of the biggest open markets in Europe of that period. Today, the Old Bazaar is still very popular. It is usually crowded and full of people during the day.
    • Before we go to the open market to see, feel, and smell the offering, we will stop at our local pride, art studio, and colony  – the Small Montmartre of Bitola.
