Embark on a captivating 10-day journey through Madagascar's diverse landscapes and cultural riches. Begin in Antananarivo, heading south to Antsirabe, a colonial gem steeped in history. Then, traverse the highlands, encountering local life along the way. Continue westward to Miandrivazo, where a scenic river cruise. Next, explore the enchanting Bekopaka village, venturing into the mesmerising Small and Big Tsingy formations. After that, journey to Kirindy Forest, before proceeding to Morondava via the iconic Baobab Avenue. Wrap up the adventure with a return to Antananarivo.

    • The journey begins with the national road seven towards Antsirabe, the colonial city rich in history and diverse culture.
    • Discover the landscapes of the highlands and the life of the people along the road.

  • Day 2 : Antsirabe - Miandrivazo expand_more
    • From this day, we head west of the island, a long road awaits you but the different landscapes and scenes of daily life will make you forget these journeys.
    • Overnight: Princesse du Tsiribihina
  • Day 3 : 1st Day of River Cruise expand_more
    • 1st day of river expedition
    • After breakfast, we drive about 2 hours to reach the river, full day of river expedition offering wonderful sights: wildlife, landscape, local people.
    • Overnight: Bivouac
  • Day 4 : 2nd Day of River Cruise expand_more
    • 2nd day of river expedition
    • You continue the river cruise, discovering the fantastic landscape of the western of Madagascar, lemurs, birds, waterfall and others maybe seen during the cruise.
    • Overnight: Bivouac
  • Day 5 : Last Day of River Cruise + Bekopaka Village expand_more
    • This day is the last day of river cruise, after breakfast, you start the day by boat about 3 to 4 hours, then meet the car, drive through small village on a bumpy and dusty road to reach Bekopaka village, close the National park.
    • Overnight: Olympe de Bemaraha
  • Day 6 : Small Tsingy and Manambolo river expand_more
    • First day in Bekopaka: you start at the Manambolo gorge, near the village, to discover these cathedrals of limestone rocks with sharp points, dotted with dense vegetation and inhabited by endemic fauna, then continuation to the small tsingy: the preambles of the big tsingy.

  • Day 7 : Big Tsingy expand_more
    • We drive about 2 hours to the big tsingy entrance: the limestone forest.
    • The Tsingy are emblematic rock formations of Madagascar. There are several types but all are made up of limestone deposits, shells and fossils, you have a full day to discover more about it.
    • Overnight: Olympe de Bemaraha
  • Day 8 : Bekopaka - Kirindy Forest expand_more
    • We leave Bekopaka and drive on the bumpy and dusty road to reach Kirindy village, on the way, we cross 2 rivers on a ferry.
    • Once arrived, a nocturnal walk is scheduled to discover nocturnal animals inside this forest, and if Fossa are around, you may see them.
    • Overnight: Relais de Kirindy
  • Day 9 : Kirindy - Baobab Avenue - Morondava expand_more
    • To escape the heat, we start early the visit inside the Kirindy forest for different endemic plants and animals, then at Kirindy village you will see some big baobab and the sacred baobab.
    • After lunch there, continuation to reach Morondava, but stop at the Baobab avenue for more feeling and sunset.
    • Overnight: Vezo beach Hotel
  • Day 10 : Morondava to Antananarivo expand_more
    • Last day of the trip, a late wake up is possible after long adventure, but depending on flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Tana.
