Description

Challenge yourself to climb the highest peak in North Africa and on the Atlas. The Atlas Mountains are situated in Morocco. It is  a mountain range of exceptional beauty and cultural interests, but still relatively little visited. Its less trekked routes which make it unique and exciting and far away from meeting with other trekkers. This tour starts and finishes in the vibrant city of Marrakech, and includes transport to and from Imlil.

  • DAY-1 Imlil (1,740 m) expand_more

    • Transfer to Imlil (1,740 m). Moroccan tour guide pick you up from the hotel or Riad.

    • Leave the city and drive south towards the craggy peaks and plunging valleys of the Toubkal Massif.

    • Crossing the Haouz Plain, pass through the tiny town of Asni. The road begins to climb towards the foothills of the Massif here. Trek to Toubkal refugee via Aremd.

  • DAY-2 Toubkal (4165 m) expand_more

    • Start the day early in the morning in order to get  to the summit of Toubkal (4165 m), the highest peak in northern Africa. Then, head back to the hut to have lunch.

    • Keep walking down along the valley, till we get Imlil.

    • Dive back to Marrakech.
