Description

Explore the Southeast of Morocco, specially designed for you to visit two former Imperial capitals and cross the High Atlas mountains. Start the trip from Marrakech, pass through the Valley of Roses, Dades gorge and the Berber villages (Tinjdad and Rissani) to reach Merzouga. Enjoy the night under the stars and the sunrise in the desert, go for a camel ride and meet the Barbary apes and cedar forests in Azrou before your end the trip in Fes.

  • Day 1- Marrakech to Dades Gorge expand_more
    • Depart from Marrakech and head to the south, crossing the High Atlas/Tizi Ntichka (2260 m altitude). 
    • Visit Ouarzazate and Kasbah Taourirte on the way, and drive through the Valley of Roses. 

    Overnight in the Dades Gorges. 

    Accommodation at the hotel.

  • Day 2- Dades Gorges to Merzouga expand_more
    • Have breakfast and head towards Merzouga. 
    • Visit Todra Oasis, and drive through the Berber villages- Tinjdad and Rissani. 
    • Arrive in the afternoon at Merzouga dunes. Enjoy seeing the stars, moon, sunset, and sunrise.
    • Spend overnight at the heart of the desert under the nomad’s tent. 
  • Day 3- Merzouga to Fes expand_more
    • Welcome the new day by attending the magnificent panoramic view of the sunrise illuminating the desert. 
    • Return to the hotel on the saddle of a camel for a shower and breakfast. 
    • After breakfast, depart and head north along the scenic Ziz valley.
    • Stop near Azrou to visit the cedar forests that incorporate the colony of Barbary apes.
    • Drop off at Fes.
