Day 1: Trek from Marrakech to Azzaden Valley expand_more
- Travel from Marrakech to Imlil (1,780m) for a 6-hour long trek to the Azzaden Valley. On the way, witness the pass Tizi N’Mzik at 2450m, the refuge at Azib 'n’Tamsoult and the Lghouliden Waterfalls.
- Walk about 5 hours to spend overnight in a tent at Azib ‘n' Tamsoult.

Day 2: Hike from Azzaden Valley to Toubkal Refuge expand_more
Hike from Azzaden Valley to the Toubkal Refuge over the Aguelzim Mountain pass at 3560m.
Enjoy lunch at spectacular views of the Atlas Mountain Range.
Walk for 7 hours to spend a night in a tent nearby the Toubkal Refuge (Neltner Hut).

Day 3: Back to Marrakech expand_more
Start the summit to Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in Northern Africa with your local tour guide and route takes you to the south cirque, crossing the stream above the refuge, where walking is relatively simple, but the scree and altitude makes it quite difficult. And the views along the way make the journey worthwhile.
Proceed to witness vistas across the surrounding landscape which is quite breathtaking. From here starts the unrestricted views in every direction, from the Marrakesh plains to the High Atlas in the north, Anti-Atlas and the Sahara in south.
Retrace your steps as you return down to the mountain and head back towards Imlil.
Walk for 9-10 hours to reach back to the Marrakech.

Know before you go
- For Atlas Trekking, you need to prepare yourself for walking in any type of mountain region. It might be warm and sunny during the day but the weather can quickly change from sunshine to snow and cold winds (autumn through late spring).
Please do not leave any garbage behind, carry out with yourself.
Atlas Treks are tailored to match the level of your fitness. You have to choose from staying in Berber Guesthouses, where you can take daily walks, or Atlas Mule Trek for 2+ days where, you usually have the choice of staying in Berber Guesthouse/with families or wild camping in 2-person tents.
