See the world-famous Tinmel Mosque, the cultural and spiritual cradle of the Almohads founded by Mehdi Ibn Toumert in the early 12th century. The architecture of this monument is typical and was a great source of inspiration for the construction of the famous Koutoubia mosque in Marrakech.     1. Meet the tour guide at an agreed-upon location and begin the trip. Visit the Tinmal Mosque located in the High Atlas mountains of North Africa. It was constructed in 1156 to commemorate the founder of the Almohad dynasty, Mohamed Ibn Tumart. One of the two mosques in Morocco is open to non-Muslims, the other being the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. 
    2. Hitting the R203 road, which leads to Taroudant through the Asni and Ouirgane way, we arrive at Tinmel, home to the Almohade Dynasty where we can still see pieces of the Medieval fortress, the royal necropolis shelters, the remains of the founder Abdel Moumen and the spiritual master Ibn Toumert. The mosque has been recently refurbished, and it is a model of Almohade art. 
    3. On the return journey, stop at the Atlas Mountains in Ouirgane, considered a gastronomic place where you will stop for lunch.
    4. Then, continue the journey back to Marrakech that will end the day trip.
