Description

Embark on a thrilling 2-day adventure in Morocco, starting in Marrakech, as you enjoy a scenic drive to the high Atlas mountains! Experience a Moroccan tea break, lunch at the Chamharouch shrine, and an uphill journey to the refuge, where you will spend the night. Then, ascend to the summit at 4167m for breathtaking views. Wrap up your tour as you descend to the refuge for lunch, then hike back to Imlil.

  • Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil Village – Toubkal Refuge expand_more
    • In Marrakech, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the high Atlas mountain range. It will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. The local guide in Imlil will meet you. Then, a short break for a Moroccan tea. 
    • Then, you will set off walking to the base camp 3207m and pass by the Chamharouch shrine, where you will have a stop for lunch, which will be prepared for you. 
    • Afterwards, you will walk uphill to the refuge and spend the night. It will take around 5 to 6 hours to walk.
  • Day 2: Toubkal Mountain Refuge – Toubkal Summit – Imlil Village – Marrakech expand_more
    • Today, you will have breakfast at the refuge. Then, you climb up to the summit of 4167m. It will take around three hours to walk up and around 2 to 3 hours down. You will get amazing views from the summit. 
    • Walk down to the refuge, where you will have lunch before you hike back down via the same route to Imlil. Walking back down to Imlil will take around 4 to 5 hours. Today, you will be walking around 10 to 12 hours in total. 
    • Pick up and drive to Marrakech from Imlil.
