  • Day 1: Colombo airport - Negombo expand_more
    • Meet your chauffeur on arrival. 
    • Transfer to a beach hotel in Negombo. 
    • Then visit a fishing village or spend leisure time at the beach.

  • Day 2: Sigiriya - Traditional village visit expand_more
    • After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and leave to visit the Sigiriya rock fortress, one of Sri Lanka's most fascinating UNESCO world heritage site.
    • No matter how often you climb the summit of this one-time hilltop fortress of the maverick Sinhalese King Kassapa, the pleasure barely diminishes because of the abandoned spectacular views at the summit.
    • In the afternoon, visit a traditional village in Habarana. There you can experience the real traditional Sri Lankan rural village style, where you will travel in a bullock cart to a rural village. 
    • If you like, you can get an Ayurvedic spa treatment there. This is highly recommended as a "must-do" activity to feel the real Sri Lanka.

  • Day 3: Dambulla - Kandy expand_more
    • After breakfast, travel to Kandy, which is another fascinating city in Sri Lanka. 

    • On our way, visit the Dambulla cave temple, which contains more than 150 Statues of Buddha. This was where a king of the 1st Century B.C. took refuge and later converted them into a monastery.

    • Also, during this tour, you will be able to visit a spice garden.

    • Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. This temple, the most important one for the Sri Lankan Buddhists, was built in the 16th Century A.D, solely for housing the tooth relic. 

    • Observe the magnificent Architecture of that period and experience the tranquillity of the atmosphere.

    • In the evening, witness a spectacular Sri Lankan cultural show.


  • Day 4: Pinnawala - Peradeniya – Kandy city tour expand_more
    • After breakfast, travel to visit the Pinnawala elephant orphanage, the foster – home of elephants of different ages and sizes. There you will get the rare opportunity to feed and bathe elephants, play together with them and even mate. These great animals have been found injured or left abandoned in the wilderness. Now they even breed in captivity.

    • Visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, a pleasure garden of a Kandyan King of the 16th Century and later made into a Botanical Garden during the British regime. This garden is trendy among the locals and the tourists, and it is one of the best gardens in Asia. It is a place of beauty and an ideal site for bird watchers.

    • In the evening, do a city tour in Kandy and shopping.

  • Day 5: Nuwara Eliya expand_more
    • After breakfast, travel deeper into the country where tea is planted on hills and witness many other magnificent views. 

    • On our way to Nuwara Eliya, you will visit the Ramboda Waterfall and a tea factory, where you will be able to observe how tea is being made with your own eyes.

    • Then arrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted by the fresh wintry atmosphere, and here you have the chance to stay in a cottage type bungalow and the colonial air. (Nuwara Eliya is also known as “Little England”.)

  • Day 6: Horton’s plains - Ella expand_more
    • Early in the morning, travel to explore Horton’s Plains National Park. Horton’s Plains offer some excellent hikes in an unusual environment, characterized by forest patches, grasslands and some high-altitude vegetation. Highlights include the dramatic 880-metre drop at the very famous World's End and the beautiful Baker's Falls.

    • There you will be able to track the Kirigalpoththa Mountain which is the second-highest mountain in Sri Lanka.

    In the afternoon, travel to Ella for an overnight stay.

  • Day 7: Yala National Park expand_more
    • After breakfast, you will travel to Yala.

    • On the way, visit the famous Ella Gap and the Rawana Ella Waterfall where you can enjoy the most beautiful sceneries and spectacular views in the Sri Lanka highlands.

    • In the afternoon, explore the Yala National Wildlife Park. Yala is one of Sri Lanka’s premier eco-tourism destinations, where you can watch leopards, elephants and unique varieties of birds.

  • Day 8: Galle - Beach stay expand_more
    • Travel to a beach resort for your beach holiday. 

    • On the way, visit the Galle Fort, which was built in 1588 by the Portuguese, then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century.

    • Then visit a turtle hatchery on the southern coast. These sea turtle hatcheries are for the survival of sea turtles for the next generation.

    • In the afternoon, relax at your beach resort.

    • Enjoy an overnight stay at a beach resort.

  • Day 9: A day at the Beach expand_more
    • Enjoy a beach stay with many choices of spending your time. 

    • Leisurely strolling on the Golden Beaches enthralled in the magical atmosphere in Galle which will be a whole new way of experiencing the beauty of Sri Lanka.

    • There you can engage in water skiing, windsurfing, snorkelling or cutting through the choppy on a jet water scooter, whale watching trips and much more. (Only if you wish. It is not included in the package price.)

  • Day 10: Beach - Colombo Airport expand_more
    • Depart from Sri Lanka.
