Pick up at 6.00 a.m. from your residence in Kandy and drive to the Lion Rock. Visit the eight wonder of the world, which contains huge walls, water canals, security guard rooms, natural stoned arches, mirror stone and world-famous Sigiri paintings. It is an isolated rock, a kingdom more than 200m in height.
Visit the Dambulla cave temple, which is the largest and the best-preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka. The caves were converted into a temple complex by king Walagamba during the 1st century. There are about 153 Buddha statues and murals, which covers 2100 square meters.
The final stop is Sri Muththu Mari Amman (kovil) Hindu temple, the tallest and the most colourful Hindu temple of the country.
