Visit the UNESCO recognised Tamgaly petroglyphs, most of which date back to the Bronze Age. The ancient civilization disappeared from the site but has left us more than 4,000 drawings which are now records of their existence and life.

- Drive to the west and cross the city settlement Kaskelen, and the villages of Uzynagash, Chemolgan, Samsy, and others. During summer and autumn months, see many fields of watermelons, sugarbeet, potatoes, raspberries and strawberries. It takes about 2 hours to get to the national historical park.
On the way, cross the Kopa railway station of the Siberian path.
Departure to the Almaty city at 2-3 pm.

Know before you go
- It is advisable to start from Amaty during summer time at 7 am since the two-hour walk to the petroglyphs is not comfortable in the summer afternoons.
