- Leave your hotel and visit the Ahmad Al-Jaber Oil & Gas Exhibition. Here, you will learn about the Kuwait Oil Company, responsible for managing a large part of the world's oil reserves.
- After that, make your way to the Dickson House Cultural Center, where you can view an archive on British-Kuwait relations dating back from the 1960s, photographs of the British Protectorate era, and a replica museum of the Dicksons’ residential quarters.

Ahmad Al-Jaber Oil & Gas Exhibition is named after Kuwait’s 10th ruler, who served as Kuwait’s Amir from 1921 to 1950, and it was during his reign, the birth of the oil industry began. The exhibition recognizes the important historical role Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah played in the shaping of modern Kuwait.
Dickson House Cultural Center was originally a Kuwaiti home built in 1870 but was given to Britain to be used as residential headquarters.
