Day 1- Siem Reap expand_more
Meet the local tour guide and take a boat ride to Tonle Sap Lake. This is an excellent opportunity to see how the people of this village live.
See Les Artisan D’Angkor, a workshop that teaches the unique craft of wood and stone carving in the traditional style of classic Cambodian artistry.
Also if time permits, view sunset at Phnom Bakheng.
Welcome buffet dinner at a local restaurant with Apsara Dance Show.

Day 2- Siem Reap expand_more
After breakfast, set off along what is known as the Angkor short circuit.
Visit stunning temples such as Ta Prohm, with huge forest overgrowth.
Cycle along the Eastern gate of Angkor Thom before exploring the famous Bayon Temple.
After relaxing for lunch, visit the splendid temple of Angkor Wat.

Day 3- Siem Reap expand_more
Visit the remains of Hariharalaya, the first major capital of the Angkorian-era Khmer Empire. It is known as the Roluos Group due to its proximity to the modern town of Roluos.
Then proceed to visit Beng Melea Temple, which is located about 50km from Siem Reap Town.

Explore Kulen Mountain, on which Jayavarman II initiated the royal ‘god of the king’ linga cult in 802AD, declaring a unified and independent Khmer Empire under a single ruler and beginning what would later become known as Angkor period.
Spend half-day at your own leisure.

Enjoy shopping at the local markets.
