Description

Embark on an intensive itinerary which covers a city our of Floating Village, Angkor Silk Farm, etc. and major temples such as Bayon Temple, Ba Poun Temple, Phimean Akas Temple, Ta Prohm Temple, Angkor Wat Temple, and so many more. Enjoy the Kulen Waterfall and Mountain and Local Apsara Dance Show. 

  • Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival + City Tour expand_more
    • Pick-up from the Siem Reap International Airport and be escorted to the hotel for check-in and rest.

    Afternoon: 

    • Start the city tour to see the Angkor Silk Farm and experiencing the Workshop at Artisan D’Angkor to discover the traditional Khmer techniques used for stone and wood carving, lacquering and gilding, The numerous items made in the workshops are inspired by the rich Cambodia heritage. 

    • Continue the city tour by visiting Old Market (Phsar Chas), and see the French colonial buildings which are now under operating business by locals.

  • Day 2: Tour the Temples expand_more

    Morning: 

    • Post breakfast at the hotel, start a discovery tour to see South Gate of Angkor Thom City. Have a walk along the ancient road to take some beautiful photos with the Buddha faces on the top gate. 

    • Proceed to see Bayon Temple, which is the main temple in Angkor Thom city with 49 towers stood on three levels decorated with 4 Buddha faces on each tower on top.

    • Visit Bapoun Temple (A major religious temple during Khmer Empire), Phimean Akas Temple (Sky palace), Terrace of the Elephants and Leper King. 

    • Continue to see Ta Prohm Temple (Known as Tomb Raider temple since the Hollywood movie was shot here). Ta Prohm is the beautiful ruins temple with green trees, especially during the rainy season. It attracts too most tourists because of the trees that grow on the stone, towers and galleries. It is the most beautiful and picturesque.

    Noon: 

    • Take a break for lunch in a local restaurant.

    Afternoon: 

    • After lunch, continue to visit Angkor Wat Temple, which is the largest and 7th finest wonders of the world heritage by UNESCO. 

    Evening: 

    • Back to the hotel for a shower and rest. 

    • Go to a restaurant in the town to enjoy Buffet Dinner while watching the local Apsara Dance Show.

  • Day 3: Temple Tour continued expand_more

    Morning: 

    • After breakfast at the hotel, continue the tour to see Pre Rup temple (Change the body temple), which was built in the midst of the 10th century served as a crematory. 

    • Continue to experience the beautiful temple of Banteay Samre. Banteay Samre temple was built in the middle of 12th century by King Suryavarman II (reigned 1113 - 1150) and dedicated to Hindu God Visnu, with the art style of Angkor Wat. The proportions of Banteay Samre are splendid. A unique feature is an interior moat with laterite paving, which when filled with the water must have given an ethereal atmosphere to the temple. All of the buildings around the moat are on a raised base with horizontal mouldings, decorated in some area with figures framed by lotus bud.

    • Head to Eastern Mebon temple. 

    Noon: 

    • Take a break for lunch in a restaurant near the temple are. 

    Afternoon: 

    • After lunch, continue the tour to see Ta Som temple & Preah Khan temple which is the biggest temple in the big circuit built in 13th century by King Jayavarman 7th. It is now more famous for being the location of where many scenes were shot of the temples here. There truly is something for everyone. A walk around this maze-like temple can hold many surprises.

    • Go to Bakheng Mountain for Sunset. Viewing sunset from the top of Bakheng mountain is a great idea. We can see Angkor Wat temple reflecting the gold colour from sunset, see the downtown, the mountain ranges, the reservior..etc. 

    Evening: 

    • Back to the hotel and overnight on your own.

  • Day 4: Temple Tour + Departure expand_more

    Morning: 

    • After breakfast at the hotel, start a long drive of 37km to Banteay Srey Temple (the Citadel of Women). This small pink sandstone temple (late 10th century) is considered as the precious stone or the crown jewel of classical Khmer arts with the delicate beauty of its carvings. 

    • Proceed to visit Kulen Waterfall Mountain. Kulen Mountain was the birthplace of Angkor. The mountain is revered by Khmers and regarded as a sacred place. It is here that King Jayavarman II in the 9th century proclaimed himself as a divine universal ruler and chose Kulen Mountain as his administration center to rule the Kingdom of Khmer Empire.

    • Take time to pray to the huge reclining Buddha statue, which as built on the top of a natural huge rock. Walking around to see the One Thousand of God Siva's Linga and pedestal of Goddess Uma (Linga, literally means: Symbol of man, Pedestal means: Symbol of a woman). Then you may enjoy fresh feeling under the waterfall.

    Noon: 

    • Take a break for lunch in a restaurant on the mountain. 

    Afternoon: 

    • After lunch, continue the tour by visiting Beng Mealea Temple. Beng Mealea is a remote overgrown temple with a floor plan similar to Angkor Wat but in a lush jungle setting. Exploring the temple involves climbing collapse passage, through a vine-covered doorway and around massive trees growing inside the temples.

    • Sightsee Kampon Phluk floating village in Tonle Sap Lake. Taking a boat to a fishing village to observe local lifestyles. Kampong Phluk is a cluster of three villages of stilted houses built within the floodplain of the Tonle Sap about 16 km southeast of Siem Reap. The villages are primarily Khmer and have about 3,000 inhabitants between them. Flooded mangrove forest surrounds the area and is home to a variety of wildlife including crab-eating macaques, tour concludes.
