  • Day 1: Visit Temples on Cycle expand_more
    • Wake up early and leave the hotel at 4.45 am with a mountain bike and cycle to watch the sunrise at the moat of Angkor Wat. 
    • After sunrise, Cycle to Ta prom - The Jungle temple where they shot the film Tomb Raider.
    • Take a break for breakfast which has been packed from the hotel. 
    • Keep cycling on the wall to see the hidden ancient East gate of the city of the biggest famous four faces of Buddha.
    • Head towards the Terrace of elephants, Royal plaza of Phimean Akas, Baphoun temple of Pyramid layout and keep climbing up to the top of the temple to view the beautiful landscape and the main one of Bayon temple of two hundred sixteen faces of Buddha. 
    • Take a break for lunch with a set menu of traditional Khmer dishes and then come back to explore the biggest religious site temple ever built of Angkor Wat. 

    Return to the hotel.

  • Day 2: Visit various locations expand_more
    • Tour guide will pick you up from the hotel at 7.00 am. The drive to the mountain will commence. 
    • Stop at the midway to see beautiful paddy rice fields and keep walking a bit to see the local countryside market and taste the Khmer Noodle of the most famous village in Siem Reap.
    • Arrive at the mountain and start trekking up to the top of the mountain on the concrete steps.
    • Midway, spot the Spring footing Buddha, the most sacred water coming from his foot the whole round years.
    • Keep walking through the jungles local path for 2.5 km to reach the main site.
    • Once there, you will see around 1000 Hindu Lingam on the water floor, which belongs to 802 AD. 
    • Keep walking along the riverbank to see the sacred holy well and the biggest Reclining Buddha of 16 century AD.
    • After this, walk a bit more through the local villages where you see the daily life of people who live on the top of the mountain.
    • When you reach the waterfall, feel free to take a dip and a swim. A changing room is available.

    Lunchtime. Return to the hotel. 

  • Day 3: The water blessing ceremony expand_more
    • Guide and driver will meet you at the hotel and bring you straight to the Buddhist Monastery in the countryside.
    • Meet with the monk and give him the offerings.
    • Attend the ceremony. The monk will give you water with flowers in it. He will also give you a lucky sacred thread to tie on your wrist. Note: this is a very respectful Khmer culture ceremony, and you are never to touch the monk.
    • After the water blessing ceremony,  return to the city and do the city tour. 
    • Visit Wat Prah Promroath Buddha hall, where you can see and learn the history of Buddha and see the most famous fine art school of Cambodia, stone and wood carving, silk weaving, lacquerware, painting and silver making.
    • Back to the hotel and relax.
    • Pick up again at 7.30 pm for the beautiful event at night in the Cambodia Phar circus. This is unmissable - you see young Cambodian youths flawlessly perform jog, jumbo, stretches and dance with classical music and story.

    Return to the hotel. 

  • Day 4: Meet a Cambodian family expand_more
    • Today, the tour will bring you the local life of the people in the community settled on the banks of the Great lake of Tole Sap which is the source of the Mekong river. Cambodia is listed as the 152nd poorest country of 172 countries in the world.  Eighty percent of people are still living in poverty, and they live on one meal a day.  
    • The biggest fresh-water lake in Cambodia is called Tonle Sap. It gets its water from the Mekong river. The lake is the source of income for the people who depend on fishing.  They net about 20 tonnes of fishes from the lake per day.
    • Leave the hotel at 8 am and drive to the community at the shore of Tonle Sap lake. 
    • Stop at the village where the people cook bamboo cakes. See how the people cook the cake inside a bamboo hole and try making one yourself. 
    • Stop at the small local market and do some shopping. Buy fresh ingredients, like fish and vegetables. 
    • Keep walking and get on the provided big private boat. The boat will take us through the community to see the floating village where the houses are floating on the water. 
    • See the big surface of the huge lake.  Meet the local host and learn to cook fish and a traditional dish called Tek Krerng and fish sour soup of morning glory.
    • If you wish, have lunch with the family. 
    • Note: This is a poor community. Such families are visited only once and chosen one day ahead. 10 $ from our group goes to books and pens or school bags for their children. Don't worry if you plan to join their meal; it is ensured that the food is safe to eat.
    • All this being said, the people are amicable and happy.  You can befriend them immediately.  

    Back to the hotel. 

  • Day 5: Hidden temples of Koh Ker and ruined temple of Beng Mealea expand_more
    • Drive to the north of Cambodia and arrive at the Phrah vihar province and explore the hidden jungle temples and away from the bubble of tourists. 
    • Koh Ker was the ancient capital city of King Jayavarman 2 in the years of 928 AD. The king had built the richest city in about 29 years over an area of 80 sq. km. 
    • Apart from temples, you will also see a huge pyramid temple with many small temples surrounding the sites.
    • Your driver will pick you up at 7.30 am and drive you to the countryside to explore the ruined temple of Beng Mealea.
    • Keep driving and arrive at the national park site and explore Brasat Bram temple,  Brasat Chen temple,  Brasat Neang Kmoa and a pyramid main temple of Brasat Thom.  
    • Take a break for lunch in front of the temple. 
    • After lunch, explore more temples of Lingam temple, like the Teak tree temple.
    • Then drive back to the city.
