Sign up for the 7-Day 'Best of Kenya' Safari, which mainly explores three top tour destinations with wildlife, namely Masai Mara, well known for almost its guaranteed sightings of Big 5. It is also popular for the annual migration of zebra and wildebeests. Lake Nakuru is home to a huge population of pink flamingos and 400 species of birds and is the sanctuary home to the white rhinoceros. At the same time, Amboseli National Park is known for its large herds of elephants, especially its stunning view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

  • Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara expand_more
    • Today, we depart for Masai Mara after breakfast at 8.00 am, drive past Nairobi to the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley, descend the escarpment, and drive via Narok to Masai Mara for lunch at the lodge. After lunch, we proceed for the afternoon game drive till sunset. The Mara is enormous and famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino.
    • Note that Masai Mara is one of the greatest wildernesses in the world. Large mammals found here are varied and easy to see. Residents among them are the Masai Giraffe, Eland, and thousands of antelopes, Zebra Topi, both Thomson's and Grants Gazelles.
    • Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
  • Day 2: Explore Masai Mara expand_more
    • The search for great predators continues today during prolific game drives. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals, plus the elusive leopard and cheetah hiding amidst the Acacia tree boughs.
    • During our stay, we will have the opportunity to visit the Masai village of local people - Masai (at an extra cost) to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their homes and social structure. It is a poignant experience.
    • Overnight stay at the lodge. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 3: Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru expand_more
    • This morning, after breakfast, we will proceed to Nakuru, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch we will proceed for the game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park till sunset. The lake is famously known for the lesser Flamingos' spectacular life along the lake shore, where they feed on algae that give them a pink colour after the heat of the days shining upon their body. Also to be seen are Lions, white rhinos and many bird species. 
    • Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. 
  • Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha expand_more
    • Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast and drive for slightly over an hour to arrive for an optional afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha to see the fish eagle hunt, the Crescent Island tour and a walking safari with the giraffes and wild beast plus the Pumba. Attractions today include hippos, waterbucks, giraffes, and hundreds of Bird species. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

  • Day 5: Lake Naivasha - Amboseli expand_more
    • Depart Naivasha for Amboseli after breakfast, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed to afternoon game viewing till sunset. Amboseli is home to much wildlife, yet the greatest attractions here are the huge number of Elephants, Hippos, and birds. It is also the best spot to view Africa's highest Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

  • Day 6: Amboseli National Park expand_more
    • Explore Amboseli today. Visiting corners of the park in the morning and afternoon, you can see the culture of the locals. Return to the poolside with a drink to soak in the day of joy!
    • Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.  
  • Day 7: Amboseli - Nairobi expand_more
    • After breakfast, leave the lodge/semi-luxury camp for the last game drive in the park as you leave Amboseli National Park for Nairobi with a hot lunch served en route, arriving in Nairobi late afternoon with sweet memories. Drop off at your hotel or airport for a connecting flight to the next destination.
