Description

Amboseli Luxury Safari Tour is a luxurious trip 240 kilometres South of Nairobi. It takes under 4 hours to drive on a landcruiser 4x4 from Nairobi city to the large countryside of Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the giant site of mighty Mt. Kilimanjaro and majestic herds of elephants at the foot of Africa's tallest mountain. The largest free-standing mountain in the world - Kilimanjaro bears the dissipating underground water streams filling up the lower land swamps of the area's ecosystem of cool climate.

  • Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park expand_more
    • 0700hrs: Pick up from your Nairobi hotel residence hotel or Nairobi airport. Drive toward Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi-Mombasa Road over the African savanna country, dotted with local homesteads and colourful Masai herdsmen who pleasurably graze their cattle. The journey will take under 4 hours. Arrive at the Amboseli National Park in time for lunch. 
    • In the afternoon, you will get into the park for a prolific game drive in search of elephants, giraffes, zebra, lions, cheetahs, warthog, ostrich and many other animals.
    • Mount Kilimanjaro dominates the skyline and surrounding countryside, showing its majesty with its snow-capped peak while we marvel at the wildlife and scenery. 
    • Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
  • Day 2: Amboseli - Nairobi expand_more
    • An early morning game drive is among the best times to see Mt Kilimanjaro. An early morning light reveals the Mount Kilimanjaro's snow-capped top. See the elephants crossing the Amboseli plains at dawn, a timeless African image.
    • After game viewing, return to the lodge for breakfast and depart to go back to Nairobi.
