Visit the Museo Novecento in Florence, which is dedicated to 20th-century Italian art. It presents a selection of around 300 works 

The room dedicated to the civic collections shows in rotation the numerous donations of artists and collectors, who have arrived, thanks to the critic Carlo Ludovico Ragghianti, after the appeal he sent to the contemporary artists after the 1966 flood. Art here is presented together with music, literature, theatre and architecture. The years belonging to the last century were very important; they were full of new ideas and happenings, things went very fast as art movements.
