Description

As most know, food is one of the first distinct aspects of a country and its local culture. Sardinia is absolutely no exception! On this tour, the guide will take you to two of the best local restaurants in Cagliari at the start and the end of it. Between the two, we will visit a part of the city, the historical quarter of Stampace.

    • We will meet in front of the cruise port.
    • After our meeting, we start with the local restaurant Su Cumbidu for the first tasting; we can choose to eat just platters of cheese and a glass of wine or even Sardinian pasta like the "culurgionis" or the "maloreddus".
    • After the tasting in Su Cumbidu, we'll walk through the historical quarter of Stampace in order to reach the second local restaurant, Sa Domu Sarda; here, we can see some very interesting points inside the quarter itself.
    • We end our tour inside the second local restaurant, Sa Domu Sarda, to taste other wines, especially the red ones, and eat other foods, especially sausages and meat.

  • The tour is done exclusively by walking
  • If you are wondering about the food, there are the "Culurgiones", Sardinian ravioli made with potatoes, mint and a little pecorino cheese and black pepper, or the "Maloreddus", Sardinian pasta with tomato sauce and sausages; between the meat dishes, we have a lot of ways to roast grill and cook cattle, pigs and sheep.
