• Pick up from the hotel and travel to Sirmione, a long and narrow strip of land extending out into Lake Garda between Desenzano Del Garda and Peschiera. 

• See the beautiful villa built by Maria Callas in Sirmione, surrounded by water, towers, courtyards and a drawbridge.

• Walk through the narrow lanes and small squares of the town lined with boutiques, antique shops, bars and restaurants.

• Continue past the spa to the Grotte di Catullo on the tip of the peninsula to see the remains of Northern Italy’s largest Roman villa, dating back to the 1st century A.D.

• Visit various churches such as the 15th century Santa Maria Maggiore and San Pietro in Mavino, the oldest church in the town. 

• Have lunch at a local restaurant. 

• Move to Desenzano Del Garda and see the objects from the bronze age kept in the town's Rambotti Archeological Museum, the most interesting find being an oak plough, 220 m long, dating back to 2000 B.C.

• Visit the 15th-century convent of Santa Maria de Senioribus.

• Discover a castle at the upper part of the town, founded in the Middle Ages and reconstructed in the XIV-XV centuries. Witness breathtaking views of the Lake from the castle, around which the narrow medieval lanes of the town intertwine.

• Continue to the lower part of the town and see the Cathedral that preserves important works of art by Andrea Celesti.
