Description

Let your taste buds experience some of the finest Italian dishes in the seaside villages on the rugged Riviera coastline. Visit four beautiful villages; Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. Explore the taste of Cinque Terre Italian cuisines on this 7 hour short guided tour.

    • Meet at the train station or any other location upon request, in the area of La Spezia or Cinque Terre. 

    • Depart by train to the first village Riomaggiore, continue a long and beautiful walk from the train station and reach the old part of the village. Taste the famous focaccia al limone, in a little bakery on the main street.

    • Travel to the village of Manarola and have the chance to join pesto class. The course is followed by a light lunch.

    • Continue to the fourth village, Vernazza, where after a guided tour, have the chance to taste the best ice cream in Italy.

    • Explore Monterosso, the biggest village of all five, and have some liquor, after a guided tour of the village.

      Return to La Spezia by train.

Know before you go

  • We will meet at the train station.

  • Visit Riomaggiore, Manarola, Vernazza and Monterosso. In each village, we will have a local produce tasting, except in Manarola, where we can join the pesto class. In case of a bad weather, the pesto class can't be run. You'll have to pay on site and the same day EUR 50 directly to the manager of the restaurant. 

  • The suggested transportation is the train, but in case we can consider the return trip by boat. 

  • We can adjust the schedule of the tour upon request to ensure you the maximum comfort. 

  • Boats are running from the end of March to the end of October.

  • For groups larger than 3, you will pay extra only the cost of the tasting EUR 25 p.p.
