    • We will start our tour from the most important church in the city: the Cathedral. Stopping at the feet of the cupola, we will discover the secrets of its construction and the brazen intelligence of its creator, Filippo Brunelleschi. 
    • Walking amidst the monuments of the religious centre and through the medieval neighbourhood, we shall reach the political heart of Florence: Piazza della Signoria, which can be considered somewhat an open-air museum. The statues surrounding us tell the history of their city, and I will help you hear their voices.
    • Just a few steps away from this piazza is another Florentine symbol: the Ponte Vecchio. We will cross the bridge to admire the Pitti Palace, the biggest private house in Florence, home to the most popular family in town: the Medici.
    • During this walk, we will learn how the history of the Medici consisted of dramatic rises and ruinous falls. Virtuous characters clash with unrepentant sinners in an epic family tale that intertwines with the destiny of a whole city.
