Sign up on this short 2-day trek to experience the astounding beauty of Iran as you hike to Mount Tochal. Halt in relaxing tents at Shirpala Hut and capture the panoramic view of Tehran from the top before returning to the starting point.

    • At 12:00, we will drive from Alibabatrek’s Office to Darband (approx. 20 minutes), located at the feet of Mount Tochal at the north end of Tehran.

    • Then we will go to the restaurant, have lunch and some rest at Darband.

    • In the afternoon, we will start the Tochal trekking tour and trek up to the Shirpala Hut of Mount Tochal at 2750m (approx. 3 hours).

    • We have a short acclimatization trek up to 3200m, then descend to the hut, have dinner, stay overnight at Shirpala Hut.

    Accommodation: Tents/beds at Shirpala Hut

  • Day 2- Trek to Tochal Summit (3964m) expand_more

    • After having breakfast at 6:00 am, we will continue towards the Tochal route and start trekking from Shirpala Hut (approx. 4-5 hours to Tochal peak), enjoy the great view of the city of Tehran from the top (depending on the weather condition).

    • We will now descend to Shirpala Hut (approx. 2-3 hours), have lunch, rest for a while.

    • Post this, we will leave for Shirpala hut in the afternoon, descend to Darband (approx. 3-4 hours), have a tea or a coffee, and rest.

    • Afterwards, we will head to the office and have some dinner.
