Day 1- Tehran Arrival expand_more
On arrival, check in to a hotel.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2- Roudbarak - Vandarbon, Hike to the Base expand_more
Drive to Kelardasht and Roudbarak and then ascend to Vandarbon.
Overnight stay at Shelter.

Day 3- Mt. Lashgarak (4250 m) expand_more
Ascend to Hesarchall today and then continue climbing towards Lashgarak summit.
Overnight stay at camp.

Day 4- Mt. Alam Kuh (4850 m) expand_more
Proceed towards Alam Kuh mountain and return to the camp.
Overnight at Vandarbon Shelter.

Day 5- Caspian Sea (rest day) expand_more
Drive out to the beautiful Caspian sea.
There will be a visit to a Bazaar.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6- To Damavand expand_more
Drive to Reineh, the hillside of Mt Damavand.
See the Shahandasht Waterfalls.
Overnight at a local house.

Day 7- Drive to the 2nd camp & Climb to 3rd camp expand_more
Do jeep drives to Mt Damavand second camp, situated at 3000 m.
Then, hike to the third camp of Bargah Sevom at 4250 m. (Total ascend will be 1250 m).
Overnight at the camp.

Day 8- Ascend the Summit (5610 m) expand_more
Do the challenging climb to the peak today that will take about 6 to 7 hours.
From the summit, we begin descending to the 3rd camp, a journey of some 7 hours that should bring us back to the camp in time for dinner. Total hiking time is approximately 12-14 hours. Total ascend/descend will be around 2700 m.

Day 9- Descend the Mountain, back to Tehran expand_more
Descend to the second camp today.
Drive to the scenic Larijan natural hot springs for a bath to leave behind all the tiredness whilst swimming in the hot mineral waters.
Then, you will be driven to the hotel in Tehran.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10- Tehran and Departure expand_more
There will be some free time before noon before checking out of the hotel. Then it's departure time!

Mount Damavand is the name of a mountain in the north of Iran plateau. It is a potentially active volcano and also it is the highest peak in Iran and also the highest volcano in Asia (about 5671 m).
