Description

Discover the ancient architecture of cities situated amid the Lut desert. Head to the vast desert to witness the massive Kalouts spread throughout the Lout Desert and admire the marvellous sight of the Keshet Waterfall. Also, inspect the ruins of ancient castles and irrigation systems of old towns—also, head to the Shahzadeh Garden, Dolat-Abad and Shfiabad Village.

  • Day 1 - Kerman, Mahan & Shahdad expand_more
    • Depart from Kerman with your Iranian tour guide to the city of Mahan at 8 am.
    • Visit the Shah Nematollah Vali Shrine, and pay respects to the Iranian mystic and poet at his mausoleum until 10 am.
    • From here, take a stroll in the Shahzadeh Garden (UNESCO World Heritage site), a prime example of a Persian garden. Its entrance is decorated with water fountains that work due to the natural incline of the land. 
    • Head for the city of Shahdad at 12 and have lunch upon arrival.
    • Set out to witness the giant Kalouts at 3 pm. Explore the desert and stay there to witness an amazing desert sunset.
    • Around 8 pm, have dinner at a lodge in Dolat-Abad village.

  • Day 2 - Dolat Abad - Keshit expand_more
    • Start your day by witnessing the magical sight of a sunrise in the desert.
    • After breakfast, head to Shfiabad Village at 8 to visit the ruins of Shafi Abad Castle and Caravansary.
    • Marvel at the ancient architecture of the underground tunnels and irrigations systems at the Qanats of Shafi Abad.
    • Depart to Keshit village to explore the Kesit Castle and Waterfall.
    • At 3 pm, have lunch in the village and depart for Kerman around 5 pm.
