Description

Engage yourself in an adventurous trek expedition to summit Damavand Mountain, whose peak always seems to be enveloped in a halo of clouds. Pass through the beautiful trails to reach the Bargah village, from where the trek trail of Mt. Damavand begins. Enjoy the scenic views from the summit and go for a rejuvenating dip in the hot spring waters.

  • Day 1- Arrival in Tehran expand_more
    • Arrive in Tehran to start the trek program.

    • Go for local sightseeing in the city.

    Overnight stay at a local house in Tehran.

  • Day 2- Polour Acclimitization Day expand_more

    • Trekking starts at an altitude of 3,400 meters and once you make your way up to the peak, it's 4,100 meters.

    • After that, proceed to Polour.

    Overnight stay in the mountain lodge(2,200 meters).

  • Day 3- High Camp expand_more

    • Go to base camp by 4WD car (one hour) early in the morning.

    • The 4-5 hour trek begins from base camp (3,040 meters) and will take us up to the advanced camp (Bargah-e Sevvom) at 4,200 meters.

    Overnight stay.

  • Day 4- Acclimatization expand_more

    • After a wholesome breakfast, start the climb for about 400-600m for acclimatization. Enjoy mesmerizing views from the top.

    • Later in the day, return to the camp for an overnight stay.

  • Day 5- Summit Day expand_more

    • Today, you will start early in the morning for the summit. The trek takes between 6-8 hours, depending on the pace.

    Overnight stay at the advanced camp.

  • Day 6- Departure expand_more

    • Descend to the base camp (3 hours).

    • Enjoy a hot spring bath after the summit.

    Overnight in the mountain lodge (2,200 meters).
