    • Arrive in Tehran and then transfer to Roudbarak, a small town at the base of Alam Kuh.

  • Day 2- Short Trek in Roudbarak expand_more

    • Short trek in Roudbarak.

    • Sightseeing in local bazar and shop for souvenirs.

    Overnight stay in the mountain lodge.

  • Day 3- Base Camp expand_more

    • Drive up to 3,200 meters by 4WD car (one hour).

    • Start for a 2-hour trek to the advanced camp at 3,700 meters (Hesarchal).

    Overnight stay at the camp.

  • Day 4- Gardoun Peak expand_more

    • Today, start trekking up to the Gardoun Peak (4,400 meters).

    Overnight stay at the camp.

  • Day 5- Summit Day expand_more

    • Today is going to be the summit day.

    • Leave early in the morning for the Alam Kuh summit. The trek takes between 6-8 hours, depending on the pace. Reaching the top of  Alam Kuh is a rewarding experience.

    Overnight stay at the advanced camp in the tent atop the mountain.

  • Day 6- Caspian Sea expand_more

    • Start your descent back to the base camp (3 hours).

    • From the base camp, you will be driven to the Caspian Sea.

    Overnight stay at a local house.

  • Day 7- Tehran Departure expand_more

    • Today, you will be driven back to Tehran.

    • Enjoy sightseeing in Tehran until you depart for your onward journey to the airport/next destination.

    Trip ends.
