I work as a tour leader. I was lucky that I could work with Kaan. It was really good cooperation. He helps me a lot with organization and with his knowledge. It's obvious that his job is in the same time his passion. He did much more for my group and for me then any guide before. He put all his heart in job. Always smiling and ready for help. I could not recommend Kaan enough as a tour guide. His professionalism and degree of personal involvement in making sure everyone’s trip was enjoyable exceeded that of many tour guides abroad. Not only was Kaan informative about the intricacies of ancient Turkish culture (some of which they don’t tell you in textbooks), but he was also very knowledgeable of the modern, more secular aspect of Turkish culture (great for a varying demographics and populations with different interests). Kaan was an honest and kind tour guide, and will help you with questions and queries which are unrelated to the tour (after the tour he stayed behind and showed us a reputable shop where to buy traditional Ottoman vases). Although we had only a couple of days in Istanbul, thanks to Kaan we were able to scratch the surface of a complex and buzzing metropolis, one which encompasses aspects of traditionalism and modernity.

This trip was very meaningful to me, being the daughter of a War Servicemen in World War. It gave a further understanding of our National History [Australia] and links with Turkey and it provided personal learning opportunities. Kaan, as Tour Guide, fulfilled every aim I had for this tour. In fact, he made it a most memorable experience. Forever the professional, he covered multitude areas of knowledge, was obliging and warm in his delivery. He blended the group of eight into a 'family' for the duration of our time together. I would have to recommend him to fellow travellers with a description of 'brilliant'! Thanks Kaan!
