Alvaro and his team were unbelievably helpful. Not only was he a fantastic communicator, he promptly answered all of my questions before we booked, provided detailed itineraries in advance, and was flexible with our large group. We had ages 1-75 in our group and Alvaro did a great job of choosing activities that worked for everyone. The flexibility to make changes during the day was incredibly helpful. Not only did his team drive us around, they were excellent tour guides providing us info and history along the route in the car. We would definitely book with him again! 

We had the pleasure of having Alvaro as our tour guide while in Costa Rica and must say I had a wonderful time. He was very knowledgeable, caring and creative. We toured multiple towns in Costa Rica, and we realy satisfied. I would strongly recommend him to anyone visiting Costa Rica.

We were lucky to meet Alvaro at the beginning of our holiday in Lirio Lodge at the Pacific side. His knowledge of Costa Rican flora and fauna is incredible and his English is very good.  We saw a lot of wildlife by using his wild-life-motto: "The less you walk, the more you see."  After our first tour we spoke with him for a while and he gave us very usefull and practical tips for the rest of our journey. Everywhere in the country he knows professional local guides. We had the opportunity to meet him again at the Caribean side. So he was our guide in Carara National Park. A nice park, but a bit busy. Alvaro took us to another part of the jungle, just outside the park what was even more beautifull and ... much more quiet and much more unspoiled. Our tip: go for something special ... go for Alvaro !
