Strongly recommended Italy trips with Giacomo

Reviewed April 20, 2023

Only the highest ratings.

Firstly, Giacomo organizes non-standard excursions to interesting places. Traveling with him, you'll make a lot of discoveries.

Secondly, he is very punctual and an amazing organizer: everything is done on time, but you don't feel any pressure and freely choose what and when to do.

Thirdly, he has an excellent manner of presentation, he knows a lot and tell interesting things (not basic information from the Internet (as some guides practicise).

Fourth, he is a great driver.

And finally, his Russian free and figurative, although it not native to him.

Both me and my husband wanted to enjoy the gastronomic landmarks of Modena.Giacomo met us and showed a Balsamic producer where we tasted even 30 years old Aceto! The day was very interesting and we liked the way Giacomo led and organized it all.Thank you!

A wonderful weekendA

Reviewed September 4, 2022

Last month my wife and I took our 4th trip to Italy.  Each trip we have gone on we have used guides for certain parts of the trip.  Part of the trip this past month took us to Ravenna and then on to Bologna.  Giacomo Saragoni was recommended to us by our hotel.. We actually used him 2 days in a row in completely different ways.  The first day we toured the Churches in Ravenna with focus on the Mosaics in the Churches.  It was our reason for coming to Ravenna.  Giacomo had extentive knowledge of both Church History as well as general knowledge of the time periods represented.

The next day he picked us up in Ravenna and we did a "Food Tour" in the Emilia Romana region.  He led us on a tour focusing on the making of Parmesan Arregiano cheese.  It was incredible.  Then we went to a  beautiful home that focused on the making of balsamic vinegar.  We also had lunch there.  These two days were perhaps thee most memorable 2 days of our trip.  We cannot thank Giacomo enough.  His language skills were top-notch and most impressive was his own knowledge of our own country (the US).  In all honesty he knows more about the United States, and here history than most Americans do! We recommend him HIGHLY!!
