Walk like an Egyptian with Mohamed Zaki Our trip to Luxor was truly unforgettable, thanks to our amazing guide Mohammed. He was incredibly informative, well-versed in English, and excellent with communication throughout the entire tour. We asked countless questions about the Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon, and he answered every single one with patience and impressive knowledge. His passion for Egyptian history made each site come alive, and we learned so much more than we expected. We are extremely pleased with his services and highly recommend him to anyone visiting Luxor. He made our experience smooth, enjoyable, and deeply memorable. Thank you so much for everything!!!

We had an amazing private tour of Aswan Edfu and Luxor with Mohamed, who made the experience truly special. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and brought the history of each site to life with fascinating details. Growing up in Luxor, he had fantastic local insights—especially about the area’s hidden gems and culture—that added so much depth. From the temples to the Nile, every moment was memorable thanks to his expertise and warm personality. Highly recommend Mohamed for an unforgettable trip!

An Unforgettable Egyptian Adventure with Mohamed Zaki: Friendly, Knowledgeable, and Always There for You!

My wife and I did a private 8-day tour with Mohamed Zaki (and driver) that included Aswan, Luxor, and Cairo. Our tour was far beyond our expectations. First, let me say we were concerned about travel to Egypt but once we got there we felt very comfortable and had no issues at all. Even the heat wasn't too bad because it's so dry. The Egyptian people were very nice and friendly. We stayed at Airbnb apartments explored the neighborhoods and got to know some of the local people.Let me tell you about Mohamed Zaki. He is college-educated in archeology and is extremely knowledgeable in both the history of Egypt and customs. We got to know Mohamed and as our vacation progressed he became more of a friend than just a guide. He helped plan our trip via email and accommodated our special requests for places we wanted to see outside of the regular tourist sights such as grocery stores and local markets. We even went to the Camel Market (lots of fun). Here is what we liked about Mohamed. It was easy to plan the trip, even which neighborhoods to stay in.He was always early picking us up--never late.He is an excellent teacher--we learned a lot about Egyptian history, culture, and even how to read Hyrogliphics. Our luggage was lost for two days and he made phone calls for us and went out of his way to make sure the luggage currier could meet us.He knew all the right spots to take photos of myself and my wife at each place we visited. He takes great pictures, thanks Mohamed. We spent the right amount of time at each sight--we were not rushed.I can't tell you how many times other tour guides who knew Mohamed came up to us to tell us we had the best guide. He was always a phone call away if we needed something after we were dropped off.He speaks and writes English very well. When planning the trip he was always prompt to answer my emails and made communication very easy. This was so much better than a group tour. We saw many things larger tours just don't go to.Thank you Mohamed for a great and memorable trip.

I did about 8 day tour of Cairo and Luxor with Mohamed and I had an incredibe time! Mohamed is a very knowledgeable guide and I learnt so much about the Egyptian civilization from him! Being an academic in the field of Humanities, I was looking to develop a deeper and comprehensive understanding about the history and culture of Egypt. The tours that Mohamed offered greatly exceeded the knowledge that I had hoped to gain about Egypt! Mohamed presents information in a very systematic fashion and also in an objective way. Whenever I had questions about different facets of Egypt's monuments, religion, and history, Mohamed was always able to answer them in a way that satisfied my curiosity.
Mohamed is also very cordial and friendly. Even outside of the deignated tour days, when I was on my own, he continued to provide assistance to me for my travel-related needs. Overall, the tours with Mohamed were very enjoyable and constructive experience for me!
