On my trip to Chennai in 2013, with a school group, Sugu was enlisted at the eleventh hour as a stand in guide for the original tour guide. In spite of the last minute arrangement, Sugu showed up promptly, bright eyed and eager to take us around Chennai. She had an instinctive understanding of the needs of the group and was flexible in accommodating changes to our itinerary. Sugu is not only knowledgeable about the history and culture of India, but exudes passion in what she does. On my return trip to Chennai n 2014 (in a private capacity), I engaged Sugu to arrange a business itinerary for me. She certainly did her homework, and I felt very safe and secure travelling around Chennai with her. I would certainly recommend Sugu to any tourist who wants a customised tour of Chennai as Sugu is willing to go the extra mile to ensure that her clients needs are met. She takes great pride in her work and displays commitment in all that she does.

Great & Friendly Guide that goes the extra mile for foreign tourist.

In Chennai I meet a great Tour Guide Mrs. Suguna Naidu (sugunatourguide@gmail). She showed me the beautiful city of Chennai, guiding me to Fort St. George & Museum, The War Memorial, The Snake Park, Parthasarathy Temple, The Santhome Cathedral Church, The Government Museum, and Marina Beach. She was very knowledgeable and moved at a leisurely pace that was perfect for me. Most of the tour guides I meet in India were really nice people but they were always in my space and wanting to stop so they could say several lines about this or that, which sometimes almost sounded like they were memorized to secure a large tip. Almost robotic like. “This...is...a....painting. BEEP! Do...you...see...the...painting? BEEP! Not her. She never sounded like that. Also, she never rushed me or made me feel hurried. It was as if we had all the time in the world. Bottom line is this, I was able to go where I wanted and take as many photos as I wanted, with Mrs. Suguna Naidu guiding me alone the way and sharing her knowledge with me about the sites as we walked. I found the whole experiance very, very nice. If I could do it all over again I would probably use Mrs. Suguna as my guide the entire trip and have her coordinate a driver for me and set up all hotels. I think that would have been a great way to go. If I visit Upper North India next year, I will see about going that route.
