I would highly recommend Mara And Serengeti Expeditions Ltd for any trips in Kenya. My dad and I were lucky enough to have an experience with them and it was beyond special. The guides really care about your experience and making sure you leaving having seen all that you can.  We had the most amazing time and would love to return to Kenya for round two. It's nice to meet good people. Makenzi is one. He has a sweet soul. Being a tour leader to 30 random foreigners is no easy task, esp when leading them through East Africa. Anything can go wrong and frequently does. Luckily Makenzi got us through and told us about the birds and the animal at the same time.

I found Makenzi to be engaging, informative, passionate and funny and would recommend him as an excellent guide. Makenzi could easily identify and provide detailed information on the large variety of animals that we encountered, and was excited when we found something different. He also had an excellent knowledge of the history of the towns that we passed through and imparted knowledge of the Kenyan and Tanzanian culture. He engaged with the people of the tour group and taught us Swahili words to make the trip more enjoyable and fun. His communication was outstanding and he was helpful and enjoyable to be with.
