Mamdouh is the single best tour guide I have ever had. He's genuinely passionate about Egyptian culture and knowledge, which makes you excited. We had a full day tour with him, and there wasn't a dull moment. We're definitely going to be using him again next time we're in Cairo, and I recommend anyone else do so too.

 Our experience with Mamdouh was absolutely fantastic. He is so incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of Egyptian history as well as day to day life in the Egypt of today.   He is gregarious, fun and seeing the sites with him was an absolute delight. His depth of knowledge always came through and he always enjoyed when you asked questions, which in my case I’m sure he saw as endless. When touring a given site, it was not uncommon to have other tourists try to listen in on his explanations to us after hearing a less than satisfactory story from their own guide.  He truly loves and knows in great detail Egypt’s deep history and is able to convey that history in a way that makes it come to life. Mamdouh will definitely be the guide we book on our next visit. He is a delight and a treasure to have at your side as you explore all that Egypt has to offer.

We had a group of 4 old college friends visiting Egypt.  Mamdouh was our guide in Alexandria, Giza, and Cairo.  We were really impressed and extremely happy with his knowledge of the history, the architecture, the current state of Egypt and its relevance to the rest of the world. 

Mamdouh is the BEST guide in Cairo.  He has a classy gentleman demeanor and his English skills are excellent.  The way he passionately describes the ancient history made the Kings, the Queens, and all persona come alive.  He wants to share as much as possible so the visitors have a fun and insightful experience.  Walking with Mamdouh in Cairo felt like accompanying the mayor.  People greet him on the street with admiration and respect.  He knows all the monuments, buildings, trees, and rocks.  Thank you very much, Mamdouh, for the knowledge and the memories which will last for the rest of our life.  Note: You should run for the Mayor.
