Fascinating and fun

Reviewed November 29, 2021

I had been on one of Cliff's walking tours a few years ago and recently asked him to do one for my son and his friends who recently started studying in London. The tours were both fascinating, packed with the sort of small facts and observations that you cannot find in a book, all delivered in Cliff's naturally witty and theatrical (not OTT) way. I can highly recommend Cliff to anyone who wants to have a great day in London, walking around areas you would not normally find yourself in and discovering some of the many gems that London has to offer. And he does it all for charity!

Thanks again.

Excellent Tour

Cliff was a brilliant guide who shared  a lot of interesting history. He consistently pointed out monuments and their meaning  as well as explaining how subtle representations of history have filtered through to the present London city. (Chair Ho).

A Short Tour of London’s St Pauls Area.

Starting at St Paul’s Cathedral, strolling down Fleet Street and ending in a pub at Covent Garden, I’ve just had a fascinating, funny and truly entertaining afternoon being shown round a part of London that has centuries of gripping history by a master of his trade.  Cliff’s tour was completely different from any other tour I’ve been on; it was fresh, educational, original and thoroughly absorbing.  London’s one of the most vibrant, richly diverse and buzzing cities on the globe and every nook and cranny has a story within it - Cliff knows them all and has the  skill, wit and humour to make those stories come alive and memorable.  If you want to know about London and its deep history and secrets, look no further than Cliff’s tours.

Walking history tour of London

Reviewed August 7, 2017

Cliff showed us Aussies around some interesting historical parts of London - including places where many convicts started their journey to Australia. He certainly knows his stuff and is clearly passionate about the city and its history.  We certainly learnt much that we didn't know - lots of quirky facts as well as some dark history of the realm - if you are a history buff, or not, you will love this tour!
