Lian is very helpful and resourceful. Once, due to wet weather conditions, the roads were muddy and our car got stuck. But Lian managed to put wood on the muddy areas, helping us get out smoothly. He is very knowledgeable about local legends and history, as he has a lot of experience. He is also a safe and responsible driver.

I met Lian for the first time in 2011.He was still learning to become a guide.But he gave me already a very good impression.So in 2015 I asked him to arrange a a trip to Palembang for me.And he did a great job.Therefore I asked him again this year to arrange a trip to Aceh and Sabang.And again it was awasome.He knows the right adresses, the best hotels for a good price and a lot about culture and food.He also speaks very good English and is learning to speak Dutch.Next time I come to Sumatera, I want him again as my guide.
