I recently organised a 1-day tour of Mumbai with Sachin Chaudhari.  Born and raised in Mumbai, he has an intimate knowledge of the city and took me to places that I never would have been able to visit on my own that were very specific to the type of places that interest me.  Specifically, I was interested in the history of the Parsi community of Mumbai and their traditional "Irani" café/restaurants. But days before we had our tour, we established contact and Sachin gave me invaluable recommendations, mostly regarding restaurants and food markets, as he is the ultimate Mumbai “foodie”! After the tour as well, he continued to give me perfect advice.  I’ll never forget my day with Sachin : he showed me so much and we shared so much.  I now consider him a friend and look forward to seeing him again.

In January 2016 I stayed at Sachin's Air BnB apartment and he was also my tour guide in Mumbai.  We saw some of the usual touristy sights but we also went to places I probably would not have gone myself as a sole female traveller, like the train, the post office, a Baha'i temple, and a local fruit market.  I wanted to get some Indian clothing, so he found a tailor in his neighborhood and then took me to some different shops to find fabric.  We ate at genuine restaurants, not the ones tour companies take Western tourists to.  His Mum cooked me breakfast and Sachin made some really good chai. Overall, these 3 days were the highlight of my 3-week-long trip to India, not just because of the great guiding, but also because of the excellent conversation, wherein I learned a tremendous amount about the culture, politics, and customs of India.   I would definitely work with Sachin again should I return to India.

Sachin is a trustworthy and friendly person who can show you insteresting places in Mumbai and tell you bit about the life in Mumbai. We had a tour with him for one day and we enjoyed it. I would definitely reccommend him as a guide to my friends.

Sachin is an excellent guide.Completely trustworthy and a wealth of knowledge .This was the second time we have used his services.He will meet you at your hotel and make sure you get back at the end of your trip.Getting around Mumbai can be very challenging, but  with Sachin it's easy.He knows where to go if you need a decent loo,and where is good for food.Really we can't thank him enough.Our only criticism is he really doesn't charge enough for his expert services.
