Loved the archeogy background

Dimitreous is a great guide and wonderful person. He has archeology PhD. This was fun to hear his experience as we viewed the  Acropolis. We learned how things were made. I highly recommend him. I would also have liked more about the history of the times of Paul the apostle while there but we did not get to Mars Hill to discuss although close by. This was the only reason for th4 instead of the 5.

Thank you for your review David. However the reason that we did not go to the Areios Pagos where St. Paul preached was only due to the rain. "Pagos" in Ancient Greek language means rock. This is what really is. A rock that has been curved in places. Just before we met I visited the place and it was More

extremely slippery due to the rain and its polished nature. I showed it to you from Akropolis. It was at an opposite direction to the ancient way we took (ancient "peripatos") towards Dionysus theatre and the museum. If we had decided to go it meant another half an hour in a dangerous terrain under heavy rain. In the coffee brake of the museum I told all it is known about St. Paul in Athens and in Corinth. His misfortunes in northern Greece and his first followers in Athens, whose Dionysios the president of the court of Areios Pagos became the first bishop of the new religion in Athens. This is all we know. Thanks once more. Less
