Arthur is very kind, very professional and very interested both in his country and in other cultures. It's this inquisitiveness that makes him an excellent guide!

We really wanted to see some natural weaving of rugs and Arthur tried to find small producers for several days until he nailed it in Yerevan. 

He is very aware of what is happening in Armenia. During our trip he saw a friend had posted pics of poppy fields in bloom. He showed these to us and based on our response we wound up going to these fields. It was a one of many highlights of the trip that weren't planned but happened because we had an excellent guide. Thanks Arthur!

Best way to see a place you've never been to is definitely with a local. Arthur was such a great tour guide. First timer travelling to such a beautiful country with so little time, Arthur was such a delight and especially informative in providing an extensive experience while I was in Armenia. I could not have had a better experience and in my opinion will definitely recommend Arthur to those who want to experience Armenia, even though I went in November!

We spent a week in Armenia and we decided that the best way to see the country was with a local guide. We were very happy to make the tour with Arthur. Everything was well organized, and every day we saw something different and stayed in different locations, including some b&b that offered some wonderful home cooked meals. Arthur clearly cares a lot about his country and its history and is well prepared. He organized the bike rental (nice bikes) and was flexible in terms of what we were most interested in doing (how much cycling, swimming in the lake, etc). Highly recommended.

My wife and I had booked our Armenian holiday through Arara Tours and we are glad that we got Arthur as our host and guide. There are so many things to talk about him as he made our holiday so pleasant and complete. Firstly he was very punctual, he always arrived at the right time and made sure we got to see and do everything according to our jammed packed itinerary. We did not have to bother about looking into our itinerary as Arthur made sure we did all the stuff as planned and even more. He was very trustworthy as we were quite skeptical and unsure of how the guide experience would be in Armenia. Overall, Arthur was very hospitable and he made us experience the true essence of Armenian culture. If you are traveling to Armenia, make sure to book Arthur as your guide.
