Cecil Graf is an excellent guide for the Verdun Battle field. He is very knowledgeable, an excellent communicator and accomodating to our schedule.

We had a very interesting trip along the battlefields of Verdun. Cecil told us a lot of interesting details during the tour.

Our guide, Cecil, was excellent. Knowledgeable and patient with our many photos. We had a lot of fog on our tour and he apologized repeatedly for the weather. So kind and just wanted us to have the best experience. And we did. 

Cecil toured us in English for 9 hours around the Verdun battlefield, incl Fleury, Douamont, Ossuary, Mort Homme and Cote 304.  He drove miles, and we really got a better feel for the landscape and chronology of the battle. He was also an invaluable source of information on other visits in the area. He also took us to Butte de Vauquois, which I HIGHLY recommend. I didn't realize how close it was,  and it's and Butte de Montfaucon's role in the later Meuse-Argonne offensive of 1918. BTW, first Sunday morning of the month you can tour B. de Vauquois underground tunnels.
