Cecil was fantastic. We had special time restraints and Cecil picked us up at the train station and returned us with time to spare. The trip was designed to honor our grandfather who was wound on October 31, 1918 during the Meuse Argonne Offensive in the final days of the long and bloody war. He was in the 80 division in the 315th Heavy Artillery. The day was educational and memorable. Very highly recommended Cecil as you guide. Thanks for everything! Terry Miller

Cecil gave an excellent tour of the Verdun Battlefields. His depth of knowledge was exceptional and the insights he provided greatly added to my family’s appreciation of the battlefield. He was generous with his time as well, giving a bit more than the four hours we booked to make sure we had a thorough tour. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to get more in-depth knowledge over just reading the tourist signage.

Great day with my 18 year old son who’s training to be a high school history teacher. We were picked up at 9am at Meuse and dropped off at verdun at 3pm. The tour was fascinating, enjoyable and fun. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent tour yesterday with Cecil, all around the battlefields of Verdun. It was a pleasure spending the day with him, as he is knowledgeable, excited about his subject, informative and really wanted to give us a good insight into the most important aspects of the people involved as well as the protracted fighting. His stories of the individuals and their amazing heroics made the history come alive. I found the destroyed village of Fleurie particularly moving and emotional. Especially seeing the before and after photos of the village that Cecil showed us. I highly recommend using a tour guide when you visit this area, and especially recommend asking for Cecil Graf as your tour guide. Thank you Cecil for an amazing and inspiring day.
